It wouldn't have been bad to include his son, but I mean, it's a spin-off, so it makes sense that the main protagonist isn't in it. Besides, this game expands the saga and isn't just about Kratos. But hey, it's not like I've played all the God of War games or am I a super fan, so I can't really understand the anger. At first glance, this is what I think.

They all said the same thing: they're complaining because the protagonist is a woman and because she's not sexy like Stellar Blade or Tomb Raider, for example. But it's normal that she looks old if Kratos is already old. Although they could have made her a little prettier, they decided not to. Oh well, it's part of the game's lore. That doesn't take away from the fact that the game can't be incredibly good, right?

I understand their view though, but i still feel the design perfectly fit the gaming style and the whole game in general.

I think the reason for the design is she is a middle-aged woman and a mother, and a former retired warrior who becomes a housewife before she died. And she is in the afterlife fighting for her life, basically. And many people complained because, you know, why is she not hot? Because her voice actress and her model is a beautiful young woman.
