Same question came to my mind recently. I thought there won't be any alternative for Youtube but I was wrong. There are few. However Dailymotion and Vevo are the ones I prefer most.

I think that dailymotion is a good alternative. The quality of the videos are good you can also look at vimeo. There are also media sharing files that allow you to watch videos from their site but if your internet connection is slow then just stick with youtube.

I have used vimeo and dailymotion other than youtube to watch videos. Among this Two dailymotion has more videos. I will recommend dailymotion to you.

There was an episode of Fairly Odd Parents that had showed a parody site of youtube called touyube. I actually searched it one day a few years later and found someone ACTUALLY made a website of it. It's no longer online I believe but it was hilarious. There were no videos uploaded, but it made me smile. Ah my childhood.

I only know Dailymotion which is quite similar to youtube but I don't think it is as good as youtube

youtube is the no1 position.

Vimeo is the best alternative to YouTube.I find many creative people on Vimeo and as far as I know there are some monetizing options there.
