Is it really dangerous to use your phone while charging? I have seen a lot of facebook posts that says it's a bad thing and you should be careful when talking on your phone while it is charging. What is the science behind this? Why do you think it is possible that the phone will explode on your face?

Is it really that dangerous? I never heard about it. Someone told me that using my phone while charging may reduce its perfomance. Thanks for sharing! I will keep that in my mind beacuse I don't want my phone to explode on my face.

I saw some post from Facebook too to warn people that it is not a good thing to use your phone while charging. First, it will not charge the phone completely. Second, the phone needs to rest while charging, no movement should be done. Third, if you are using the phone while charging, there will be times you can be electrocuted. I saw a picture of someone using their phone while charging and she was burnt and die after according to the story. I am not sure if the picture is legit, but it is wrong to use our phone while charging.

When it is charging I do not use it, as it will get done faster charging while I am not on it. I am almost sure I can survive without having to use it while charging.

Charging cables are short for a reason. Battery degrades faster if you use it while it is charging.
As far as exploding in your face... That would be first time ever.

I heard a couple of times about the explosion of the mobiles but i do not know the real reason. But if the battery is of sub standard quality, definitely we should not talk while it is kept for charging as it may cause some problems may be even explosion

Yes it is really dangerous. But in certain emergency situation I have to use it while charging. However I usually noT do calling in charge mood.

I didn't knew that. I know that using a phone while charging may reduce it's perfomance and it heats a lot.

It has become a regular thing for me and I had not put much thought about it. I know it is not right because I do remember reading from the user's manual that it could affect the battery life

Seeing those post on Facebook tells me not to used my phone while charging, I was afraid it would happened to me since I get use to use my phone and listen to music before going to sleep at night while it was charging, maybe all those Facebook post are good reminder for some people like me who open used cellphone while on charge. Lets be more careful.

I don't think it is and I only say that because I have talked to a person while the phone was charging, played games and sent text and it seemed to be just fine.

Just make sure it doesn't get hot. I use mine all the time while charging. If it starts to feel hot then stop using it.

This was a bigger problem when batteries in phones and handheld devices before, because you would end up putting more stress on the battery. This is still true, but in reality it shouldn't make a noticeable unless you only use your phone for everything when it's charging, as this can cause the battery to become hotter and possible explode or leak.

In reality though, you're just not using a battery cycle that effectively, and putting a little bit of stress on it.

sometimes I use my phone while charging ,but when get hot I don't catch him
