Hello! Im trying to build my own multi-purpose desktop pc.

Will AMD FX-6300 and MSI 970 Gaming Mobo be a good combo?


what are your thoughts or any recomendations? Im on a tight budget, so..

it is ok
if you are on a tight budget you can go with little less expensive cpu and it will run games just fine
what is your budget ?

I would suggest you buy a PC that is already assembled and upgrade the video and audio cards plus get a good speaker. That is more stable for me.
