Gmail because of how widely accepted it is. My second in line is Outlook because of how nice looking their online/mobile app is. The Gmail app is just too bright red.

I actually use Newton on my phone. It is a paid app ($50/year) but it is worth it. I am able to sync everything to both of my phones (working on selling my S8+) and my tablet with no issues. All emails come in quickly and the app is really REALLY nice looking.

I use Gmail because it is free, offers huge storage, easily accessible online, works great on mobile and is reasonably user-friendly.

We use Outlook for work, but have been using email less and less and doing much more of our work communication via Slack.

What kind of program is Slack? Anyway I've been doing aol for forum stuff, yahoo for ggaming and Hotmail for almost everything else. I just like being organized like that I guess. Cuts down on spam from forums too it seems like

I totally agree with you. Gmail is the email service I use too because it has easy user interface

Using Gmail over the years have been a great experience for me. I enjoy using that email service because of the fact that one can easily recover one if there is an issue.

Slack is similar to IM (instant messaging) and you can use it over the web through a browser, on a desktop app or a mobile app. You can set up channels with a group of people and communicate via that. You can also direct message people. Messages can also include attached files and images. We use it at work to communicate with colleagues and also to communicate with our client contacts - in that way it has replaced a lot of our email communication.

I am using both Gmail and Yahoo because my paypal is under yahoo, had been using it for a very long time. As for gmail, I use it for email and notifications. Both are good.

Great! You have highlighted 5 reasons to support your claim. Now our big brother Google will definitely be happy. Right?

Yes, that is true, Google does target ads at me based on the content of the emails I send and receive. Profitable for Google and a reduction in the user's privacy. Personally I don't mind that much, but can fully appreciate that others do.

Reasonably? Why? Do you mean that at times Google is unreasonable too towards its user members? I would say that Google behaves "unreasonably" in granting Adsense to people who are asking for it. especially, it appears that it shows a step-motherly treatment towards Asians especially Indians.

I hadn't heard of them before skysnap. Do you use their free service? Would you mind telling us a little about your experience with them and whether or not you would recommend them?

No, that's not what I was saying. I was referring to how user-friendly the service is to use. I don't think it has issues in relation to that, just that it took a little while to get used to it, after using Outlook for some years.

Looking back, I have been using Yahoo. But I prefer Gmail now because it is easier to use. Also, it is widely used by many. It is even used on Android phones.

It is probably for emails that the forum gets for support or saying that the software needs upgrading and such. I can't see it being used for much more than admin related tasks (Cron jobs and warnings and bannings) and that.
