What's your antivirus

Postby ItalianMunchiez » 03 Aug 2017, 02:16

I'd have to say web root in my opinion since I've got it when i got my new computer its saved me from 10 or 12 different viruses from clicking ads, i mean i have mcaffe security suit with my tv subscription spectrum but i like web root. its good

I actually came across Sophos Home...it's a great non-intrusive A/V and is very feature rich and it isn't constantly trying to sell you something even though they have pay for solutions.

Mine is Kaspersky. It works well but slow down my work as it keeps me company as I am working

I use Bitdefender because it's effective and doesn't slow my computer down. I also run Malwarebytes once a week and so far I haven't had any problems. I'm very wary of downloading anything these days and if I do it's usually from Google playstore.

I did have a fake email scare recently but thankfully nothing seemed to come of it although I was worried for a while.

I'm using Avast Premier. No particular reason. It was just what I found while looking for an antivirus software.

I use a multi-pronged approach. Using different programs covers more bases because one program is not the best at everything. There are too many ways to be attacked; sometimes you could have malware and not realize it even with one good antivirus.

I am using 360 antivirus for my personal use. It is free and covers a lot of aspects. I am grateful to my friend who introduced me to this antivirus since it helps me to protect and optimize my computer security. My office uses Kaspersky antivirus. It is pretty great for me so far.

I don't use any anti virus because I know what I am doing and opening so I'm doing fine without it now. I used many anti viruses before such as ESET, Panda, Kaspersky , Bitdefender even on very low PC . As far as I know Bitdefender still rules .

So why don't you change it ? Or simply remove it if you do not find it useful?

I've only been using Windows defender from Win10. Is there a benefit to actually using a different anti-virus program? Is there a free one that is very useful? Can anyone recommend?

Some anti viruses are more advanced and better than others which means yes they provide more protection. Free anti viruses that I can recommend are : Avast and Avira. Have in mind that Windows Defender is good too.

So far I have not seen an antivirus better than avast antivirus. It protects your phone from any virus of any kind. The amazing part of it is that it informs you of any virus attack and awaits you to give it command on what to do next.

I swear by Kaspersky. It's been great. It usually goes on sale around Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
