Best Bitcoin wallet?

Postby hamzazubair » 14 Oct 2017, 21:29

I usually use coinbase but more recently feel like I need a more safer/better wallet. Any suggestions?
What wallets do you all use?

Coinbase seems to be good. And there seems to be good addition with ether and litecoin too.

Coinbase is condition based, your earnings are not safe there, and it charges too much fees.

What do you mean by registered with government? Is that local site functioning as a wallet?

I heard coins.ph is good and doesn't charge fees, but it's a Philippine based site. I read from BMF that they're open internationally, but I'm not quite sure. Better check the site for more info.

I'm currently using coinbase, but i plan on switching, i just need a valid ID. :)

I am using coins.ph for my btc. It seems quite good and safe too. Though some of the investment site such as dreamhash don't allow coins.ph user to invest but aside from the mentioned encountered issue, coins.ph works on me so well.

I am using too Coinbase.I like to keep my satoshis in Coinbase,I feel is more secure there, because this wallet is famous and well known all over the world.Though if you want more secure ways,to store your Bitcoins,it is better, that you store your Bitcoins in an offline wallet. You can find many information about different offline wallets online.

For me, the best bitcoin wallet I used is coins.ph! Aside from being an bitcoin exchanger company way back in 2013 where I stored my bitcoin with security I also used this site to sell my bitcoin in exchange for real cash and cashing out through coins.ph is easy as one, two, three! I get my money in a couple of hour!

I just received the following alert via email:

... the upcoming Bitcoin Segwit2x fork is projected to take place on November 16 and will result in 2 bitcoin blockchains.

In our effort to make Coinbase the most trusted, safe, and easy-to-use digital currency exchange, we are working to ensure we maximize your benefit from this event. So, following the fork:

Any user storing Bitcoin on Coinbase at the time of the fork will be credited with an equal amount of the new Bitcoin2x asset on the Bitcoin2x blockchain. No action is required - we will automatically credit your account. If you have 5 Bitcoin stored on Coinbase before the fork, you will have 5 Bitcoin and 5 Bitcoin2x following the event.

Coinbase users will be able to trade both Bitcoin and Bitcoin2x shortly after the fork.

Coinbase will disable buys, sells, sends and receives for Bitcoin and Bitcoin2x approximately 24 hours before the fork. We will re-enable them following the fork once it’s safe to do so.

Since I am not well-versed in bitcoin matters, I don't understand all the above information.
Your tips?
