Apps draining battery

Postby thisnthat » 24 Jul 2018, 14:57

I've found that certain earning apps really drain my phone battery. I wonder if anyone else experiences this. It didn't seem quite so bad before. I'm not sure if it's a difference in phones or if it's the updates to the apps that are creating the issue (I switched phones around the same time the apps got updated).

Any recommendations for figuring this out and improving the issue?

Yes some apps do drain the mobile phone battery, especially if they are related with bitcoin. That is the main reason I do not use my phone to earn money because the mount you earn is not enough to pay for a new phone. Besides most of those apps install and run malware, others are just pure scam the only one who earns money is the one who created the app.

Those apps are running in background which make the batteries got drained. Also when play games, I set my graphics to low so less power is consumed.

All apps that are active while connected to the internet are battery drainer and also watching videos too. Some phones even list such apps on your lock screen

I think most of the apps use phone space while draining battery as well.

I use greenify to force close all these apps by a single touch of a button when I am no longer using them, This helped me to free ram and save battery for longer use.

Apps that requires internet connection and is showing lots of advertise are mainly one of the battery drainer app. It is important to set your data on which application will keep running in the background and which will not.

Connecting apps thru mobile data connection than thru wifi drains more battery. I noticed it since my battery overheats faster when I use mobile data connection.

Do you mobile dana or wirelles connection? Sometimes mobile data, especially 4G connection, can dry battery if access point is at big distance.

Yes, I too experienced this. May be because of the running of certain functions running in back ground the battery gets drained out quickly. Best thing is to set the phone to power saving mode!

Yes you are right.. Not only earning apps, but also some other apps that run in the background, drain battery. Sometimes, phone get hanged due to the uses of some apps. But then, if your phone is very new then you won't notice the draining of battery much. But with old phone you can experience it very clearly. That's why I don't keep much apps unnecessarily.

Try playing your games in mute!! Yes I can use my tablet for hours of gaming if it's muted and the brightness is set to low.

Sometimes it's not the apps that drains the batteries. It's the picture quality. HD graphics is cool and all buy I set my brightness to low. My gadget's battery last longer with lower picture quality.

Yes some Apps are well known for doing just that. I found the Facebook App to be one such App. I have since disabled it and the phone's performance is much better. You could disable or uninstall the ones you don't use because they are just there doing things even though you aren't using it.

I also try to reduce the number of apps I installed on my phone because most drained battery, few apps that are important should be installed only
