Light near camera is not related to online images, It shows you camera is on so if you didn't turn it on somebody else did.

Than you have something different. I didn't see that so far. On every laptop I worked light was on during work.

Perhaps installing anti-spyware or anti-malware will help you detect it. Usually, they need a backdoor in the form of a trojan horse type program in order to take control of your phone camera.

Best is fully disable camera or use some cover for it.

Did you scan your phone with it?

If you are not really sure, cover the cams if you are not using them. Or keep your phone offline.

You'll probably notice suspicious activities like apps you didn't download, a log of calls you didn't make and text messages you didn't send. Your legitimate apps start malfunctioning, phone behaving sluggish and spike in data usage. If the camera is hacked you might start seeing videos and photos in the gallery that you don't recognise. If anything of the likes occurred on your phone, you could delete the things you didn't put there and run the security software. Or you might have to do a master reset.

I dont worry about my camera getting hacked because I dont do nudes, I may worry more if my screen gets hacked because that can lead to stolen passwords.

this sounds scary but if you got some suspicious history or anything on your phone just delete or reset it cause they might have access on your accounts or anything on your phone
