I hope it will stop this stupid lockdowns and masks. Yesterday we closed schools, 7 days before Christmas holiday. Bars don't work and looks it will not be open for Christmas and New Year.

The vaccination programme started on Tuesday 8th December 2020 in the UK. There were only two people who had reactions but they had known allergies and used an epipen. They were treated on the spot and recovered quickly. As an older person I will be quite high on the list to be called for the vaccination and I can't wait although I will still have to be careful for some time while out and about.

I think UK was the first country to start the vaccination, I think it is a great step. Pfizer vaccine cannot be used in people with allergies, my mother is your age and she has some allergies, she doesn't want to take this vaccine, she prefers to wait for another one.

My home town is one of the first places in the county of Wiltshire to start the programme and as I have no allergies I am hoping to be called fairly soon.

Here the vaccination will start by the end of this month but only for risk groups, like healthcare professionals, people with some diseases, older ones... Only in January it will be available for more groups.
Hope you are called soon <3

Scientists of many countries have claimed that they have produced vaccines for Covid-19. However, I do not think that those vaccines protected people from the disease. I really hope this time this vaccine works. However, I am not sure if this vaccine is indeed beneficial. There is no peer-reviewed journal that supports the claim. If someone has any information about this, then please share. it looks like I need to do research about this topic and search more about it.

Vaccination Program has been planned here in India as well. Those who all will be given vaccines initially and then further how things will be planned.
There could be some initial side effects among those who are given the vaccines plus other challenges. Also, vaccine drive will proceed gradually as huge logistics are involved.

The protection from covid is really important but researchs may will improve or decline if vaccination has bad effect on people health but most important is protection from contamination.

The vaccination programme here in the UK is well underway and only 2 reported cases of a reaction so far. These people had known allergies.

My neighbour had his jab yesterday as he is over 80 and says he feels fine. Can't wait for mine. :)

That is good, it shows that the vaccine is safe and secure. I think the only thing that we still don't know is for how long will we be immune to the virus...

Every vaccine carries a risk but it is usually very small. The risk of becoming ill from covid is much higher.

The UK is now experiencing a more infectious strain of covid but it is not thought to be more deadly. Higher restrictions are being put in place and we will probably go into total lockdown after Christmas.

We are still hoping for the vaccination to kick off in my country. I really hope that it will be started immediately because this second wave of the pandemic is coming with full Force.
