Flying drones, why is it a thing?

Postby lightning18 » 24 Jul 2015, 13:38

I have noticed that a lot of people are now using flying drones to capture images and videos. It's changing cinematography and even common people can afford these drones. Why do you think it's becoming a trend today? Do you think you will buy a drone any time soon? Do you think it's easy to fly one?

At least you live in a countries where people can afford drones. I live in a so poor country that the only thing less developed than it would be if ambulance was actually a donkey with a siren strapped on its head.

Does an ordinary person need one? My idea of a drone is that they are used for a tv or movie shoot. With a drone you can now take good angles. But I think I saw a video wherein they used drones for racing isn't that odd?

Drones, as what they are called by the users, are now the fashion when it comes to camera shots whether personal, events or even films. Here is an article that may be of interest to you....

the title is FILMING WITH DRONES - http://filmacademyphil.org/?p=7036

I have seen different drones being used for filming in movies, from the cheap ones to the most expensive drones with fancy controls. But this is the first time I've heard of drones being used to deliver the goods. That's like science fiction. Great.

One of my neighbors has a drone, I saw him with it on the other day and it didn't seem very difficult to command. I believe that news laws have to be made because of drones, they are dangerous. With a Drone everyone can watch you, your privacy is at risk, plus you can use them to do several things depending on your intentions.

As per the news last night, drones should be registered with the aviation administration. Although there were no guidelines, the news said that strict implementation of the law will be followed.

I think that the government cannot monitor how many drones are flying in the sky or how many users are using this kind of device. I think that they should focus on monitor gun use than this one. They are too focused on other things.
