Windows 10 launches tomorrow - who's ready?

Postby Jack » 28 Jul 2015, 06:17

Windows 10 officially launches tomorrow, 29th July.

Who is ready for the best upgrade to Windows in the last couple years?

Remember, you can get to keep Windows 10 for free if you upgrade in the first year.

Also, the upgrade will happen in waves, so you may not get it on the 29th exactly.

Hi Friends,

Thanks for the news about launching of "Windows 10", till now I have not understand the windows 8 it self I do not know how windows 10 will be. Even if i buy a new computer or laptop I insist the seller to install for windows 7 version it is amicable and useful to me instead of latest versions in windows.

I'm just a little bit worried with possible compatibility issues...

Windows 10 is better than both Windows 7 and Windows 8. It's an all-round great experience for sure, and you should definitely try it out. Especially as it is free. :)

It's been in testing for a long time - I myself have tested it on multiple devices, and it all works great, no incompatibilities so far.

I am very comfortable with my windows 7 and don't want to change it now, if I change then all my documents may go, hmmm don't want to invite problems.

Not me, I planned just to stick with my windows 7. In case windows 10 is more reasonable than windows 7 maybe I'll try it.

Now i am happy with my windows 8.1. So no idea of trying windows 10 . If 8.1 starts giving any trouble, then i will go with windows 10

As a tester, all I can say is that Edge is faster than Internet Explorer.

But I am going to wait 1month to see how it ends.

Just to make you know, you can already download Windows 10. Here is how to upgrade: http://www.windowscentral.com/windows-1 ... ger-update

I'm still waiting for the free demo installer from my friend in Microsoft. That's why I'm kind of surprised upon reading this thread that it is a go tomorrow and I still have no installer.

I have already installed the windows 10. There isn't that much difference. I have used the free installation since my brother wanted to look at it but there is actually no difference. They just changed a few things in the layout and you can actually have a virtual assistant there.

I upgraded it and had 0 problems! All my stuff is there, nothing's gone, no bugs so far and it's sooo much more organized than Windows 8/8.1

I though I was ready, was very excited about it until that moment I clicked in the update. From that moment on everything changed, it took an afternoon to install Windows 10. Finally the new Windows was there just waiting for me to find that it crashes my HP Pavilion G6 :evil. Although I have a I7 with 6 GB Ram the new operating system doesn't like my graphics card Radeaon 7670M :(. At the end I had to reinstall windows 7 so please don't mention Win10 near me in the next couple of days
