What do you think of people who sleep next to your phones? What is the danger of sleeping next to your cellphone? Well according to some research you should not allow your children especially babies to sleep next to your cellphones because it can cause cancer.

This is a no-no according to a psychologist. It would be best if your phone is not in the bedroom although it is impractical since emergencies can arise while you are asleep. But sleeping beside your phone is not a good habit at all.

Yes it is true what you. When we sleep close to our phones, it can cause cancer. When I am sleeping, I keep my phone far away from me.

I googled this and it would appear that there is no hard and fast evidence to suggest the two are linked. Some studies says there is a slight increase in brain tumours since the 1970s but this could well be attributed to other factors.

I open sleep next to my phone at night, sometimes I talk to my husband or listen to music using my earphone and I forgot to take them off then I just fall asleep. I know its not a good thing and need to be avoided.

Sleeping next to your phone is like sleeping next to a radio that's on but without volume, guys, if you sleep with the screen powered on all night, that would be an issue. With that said, I do sleep next to my phone, it's not in my bed, but it is within arm's reach.

The effect wouldn't be immediate. Probably it would take years/decades to have an effect on brain cells. Anyway, I totally agree with what you said, the increase in brain tumours could be caused by so many other factors.

I used to sleep beside my phone with it charging. I have since stopped since I've heard stories of them overheating and causing a fire on the bed. :p. I still sleep beside my phone without it charging though.

Few days back my phone was charging its battery automatically and never stopped though i never kept it for charging and the charger is in my cupboard and not connected to the phone . so the service centre personnel asked me whether i used to keep my phone nearby pc or speakers or CPU. i said yes . then he said we should not keep like that and the radio frequency signals will attract the magnet and it will disturb the components.

No, I keep my phone on my desk and usually it's switched off or charging in the evenings. Don't like to have electronics around in my bedroom, prefer to get a decent night's rest.

Mostly I am sleeping near my cell phone, some times I keep my cell phone just by side of my pillow also. I know that keeping cell phone near while sleeping but I am not worrying about it. What ever it may be I keep my cell phone near to me always.

I'm not sure you can really say it directly cancer. It can cause you many other things like: sudden headache, Sometimes you might feel awkward, And cancer is actually the last thing that can happen. Normally it doesn't happen
