I am really curious what do you use and what do you prefer to use? Microsoft's Windows or Apple's Mac OS X.

I used both. I really like Windows 7. I play games a lot and I prefer Windows.

Mac OS X's advantages are stability and speed.
Windows' advantages are a lot games.

Unfortunately I have to use Windows because some of the applications I need to use only have a windows version, otherwise I would prefer Mac SO. Like you said Mac OS is much more stable and virus free.

Apple products are excellent plus the simplicity of the Mac OS interface is great. Another advantage is that with Mac OS you can monitor the system through a comprehensive set of built-in utility tools. The updates are also free and normally the system updates without any problems while sometimes Windows updates are really a nightmare (example when I updated from Win 7 to windows 10, had to factory reset the whole system).

I prefer Windows because of the easy usage of this OS. Most of the PC users were Windows users so the files they're working out is compatible to most of the users.
MAC OS is pretty exclusive and not not everything is avaiable via downloading since it's from Apple Inc.

I prefer windows only that also only windows 7, ever I have not satisfied with the changes in windows 8. I cannot understand windows 8. Windows 7 is quite convenient to me to do things like downloading images, pictures and uploading them to other sites. But still I am facing some difficulty in using windows 8

i use Windows. infact i have no idea about MAC OS, because i never used it. i feel comfort in windows, sommoth and easy so i like it

Well I honestly prefer windows over the mac os x even though I enjoy using mac laptops and computer because there are a lot of softwares and you can easily install software when you are windows. You can also use cracked softwares unlike when you are using mac.

I never used Mac, but I had a coworker that show me the benefits os using OS X. I really liked the backup system, and the way that we can save the files.
I always used windows (since windows 3.1)... and I already lost lots of important files because I forgot to do backups...
However I still prefer using windows, especially because of the games...

i have bought an Apple Macbook Pro recently. I feel great using it. I too heard that these problems don't happen with Apple and I have just started using it. So i am yet to find out.

Windows. Why? I am using it almost 5 years and it is great. Windows is better for gaming while Mac is better for video editing.

it happen but just sometimes and if you don't use your laptop for gaming i think The Apple is better for you But it's so expensive

For phone Apple is the best and for pc i prefer windows than mac. I do not know i am not comfortable with imac.But does not mean that is bad, not at all

I remember reading an article which said that Apple was years behind Windows in terms of security. http://www.forbes.com/sites/adriankings ... -security/ Whether they have since changed their ways idk. I think the Win10 update was fantastic. I actually noticed a bit of a speed boost from Win 8.1. I would recommend you install a good antivirus/ firewall and look into what programs are causing memory issues on your system.

Yes the windows update is fantastic. Anyway, I think they are right. They are curious on how to hack mac so they are targetting mac instead of windows since there are already a lot of people creating virus and malware for windows. Back then Apple doesn't get malware and even if it does, it doesn't seem to affect the system.

I have heard that Apple computers are less suseptible of catching viruses but have never owned one to know if this is true or not. I do think it's worth a try one day. I might have to relearn some things as far as OS go though maybe?

Yes these problems will not effect with apple MAC. That would be safe.

I am using my PC with operating system Windows for more than 2 years and good thing is that till now i am not having any problem of virus or anything else while i stay online or do my online activities like websites making and soon.

Yes, I can noticed that, I been using my laptop using windows and it freezes everytime, sometime its too slow, its getting a lot of virus, but my husband told me that his Mac book is working great and its much safer from getting viruses.

since i've been using Windows computers for a loong time, and MACs are WAAAAAAY too much expensive to buy, i prefer windows, because its what i'm using for so many years... but i know that MAC OS has much better performance
