Akira will be out of this month as a dlc character. This make me sad because her inclusion means Capcom will not make a new Rival schools game, Rival schools is absorbed by the Street Fighter Universe because on of its character is now a Street fighter. Akira was an innocent student who became a Juvenile delinquent biker to rescue her big brother.



Street Fighter V announced that the latest new character is Luke. This guy is inspired from the Paul Brothers of Youtube.

Of all people you will design a character after, You go for the Paul Brothers.




Past Street Fighters are designed from either Martial Artist or iconic stars. Paul Brothers are not Iconic.

Ryu is designed after Iconic Karate Master Mas Oyama.


Ken is Designed after Champion Kick Boxer and Bruce Lee Student Joe Lewis.


Crimson Viper is designed after Angelina Jolie.



Lucia Morgan is designed after Cynthia Rothrock

I like Rashid and Karin as Protagonists of Street Fighter V because they did become more tournament viable than Ryu and Ken but I am upset that the Luke the Paul Brother look alike will be the protagonist of Street Fighter 6.

Rumors is that Street Fighter 6 will be set in early 2000s (most of the game is set in a futuristic version of 90s)

Luke and Ed will be the main characters. So much for diversity.... 2 Blond white American guys....

Luke is Guile's apprentice, He is a boy who joined the military after his dad died from a terrorist attack, He is basically Guile but with Boxing based MMA.


Ed is a 12 year old boy but he looks like a buff adult because of rapid aging. He is M.Bison's clone.


Ryu,Ken and Chun-li are guaranteed to be back. Karin and Rasheed might be back too due to their popularity. Cammy might retire because she already rescued her sister which is the point of her story.
