I think it was Windows 95 a loooooong time ago, I remember thinking how futuristic and awesome it was and how we will never be able to come out with something better. Oh, how times have changed..

I remember using Windows 3.1 and at that time I never used the internet. I only used a specific software program for my church responsibilities, at that time.

I think my favorite Windows software was 7 and I still use the very first email address I established.

My first operating system that I used was Windows XP, if I remember that's way back 2007-2008. Right now I'm using windows 8 on my laptop still don't have time to upgrade it to windows 10.

There are probably some people who are only in their twenties or thirties who used Windows 3.1 at some point. XD I actually did use Windows 3.1 a tiny, tiny bit when I was super young. I mainly used Windows 95 and higher though. :P

Which suggests you're quite old.
I used windows 95 once, and that was only because I wanted to see how it was, I think it was in 2005. I did not liked it, all the hassle to install drivers manually just turned me off. I did not use it for one day and went back to XP.

I am getting a kick out of this thread. When I started using computers there was no Windows at all, in fact it was before MS-Dos was patterned after CP/M and everything was in black and white (or green) text.

Working on a New Side-Hustle

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

DOS.
I used this OS while doing my BSc Computer Science course in the late 1990s. Windows had just started then, but was not a part of academic syllabus in the first two years.
