I have a broadband and cable bundle with UPC (Virgin Media). We used to have it with a company called Magnet but they discontinued offering their services for the apartments in our area. It sucks to change providers, though. I never encountered getting disconnected as often as I do now with UPC.

We have cable here but I hardly ever use it. My brothers use it a lot but I prefer Netflix. Netflix is only $10 per month and it has so many good TV shows on it. It's better than cable in my opinion, and I like being able to watch TV without being constantly interrupted by commercials.

I have Amazon Prime, I also flick through my Sky Guide and see if there is anything worth recording to watch at a later date. I don't watch alot of TV, it takes a VERY special programme to make me remember it is on and watch it.

I have dish TV (TATA) at the rate of $5 per month. In case I wish to watch a new movie I can get it for $1. I have apx 200+ channels right now but I can add any number of channels as and when required.

I cut cable about five years now when the price kept jacking up! We have Chromecast, so we Netflix and Hulu were the way to go, plus all the other free apps. My son bought a Roku TV when we moved, so we watch television shows and movies and documentaries through these.

I watch quite a lot on Youtube, but also Netflix and Amazon are good for most general TV and film watching. I don't watch "normal" TV unless I'm visiting someone. If I need to check on the news, I can just look at a website - you don't need TV for that. When I look for "news" channels or sites, I prefer to go for categories that I like, rather than being spoon-fed whatever someone else thinks should be the top stories of the day.

I have a tv connected to a set top box just activated the subscription few days back. I am not a tv fan as I hardly have any time. I am yet to explore the possibility of Netflix though I have heard a lot about it.
