Re: Mac or No Mac?

Postby jacktheking » 03 Jun 2016, 15:35

Out of some many operating systems out there, my favorite one will be Window. Window 7 and 10 to be more specific.

I am forced (not going to go into details, but it is very funny) to use Mac a month ago. I used it for like more than 24 hours since then (yeah, I spent a lot of time in front of computers). At first, I cannot get used to the user interface and shortcut keys (CMD+C, CMD+Z etc). However after the 24 hours (or more), I found out that Mac is not really hard to use. In fact, I actually like the design of Max especially the "Tabbed window" features. Max actually focused more on design than on features. This is why many designers prefer to use Mac - I believe.

No worries Microsoft, Windows is still my favorite operating system. :).

Thanks @Angie10 for outlining why you love Mac :)

@IcyFirefly, other than the fact that your relatives gifted you a Mac, can you mention some specific benefits of using Mac?

Don't Apple itself sell refurbished ones online? I am not sure but I think i saw it somewhere a few months back.

Yes, it does. They are cheaper.

I don't use a Mac, I only have a Windows laptop at the moment and it's served me well so far, no issues with it (maybe that it overheats when gaming).

That is so true about the not reading. I have come across this particular one in many threads that showed just that.

Personally, if the title of the post enticed me, I read every comment there is in that thread before posting mine :)

And do they ship it internationally?

It seems simple enough to order one and see. I find it very unlikely they would complete the transaction if they didn't ship to your country and at that point, you have spent nothing but a little time.

Sorry, but I would never buy a Mac and would have no reason to keep a link. If for some unknown reason I would ever change my mind I would turn to Google to point the way for me.

Alright, thank you very much for the input, I'll try to look it up. Actually if I buy it from any local store, I think it will be more expensive than an online or direct apple store.
