I love computers and hardware :) And believe me. Change RAM in our computers is a very easy task... We only need to know how much RAM our motherboard can use and what kind of RAM do we have to buy!

Honestly, I don't think this is an easy task.
How do I know how much RAM my motherboard can use?
How about knowing what kind of RAM do we have to buy!?

Hello
Answering your doubts:
- You can find how much RAM your motherboard support searching by the model of your computer (for instance in the brand site). I'm sure you can find it there...
- If you search about your computer specifications you will find what kind of RAM do you have to buy.

This 2 aspects are very important. However, if you are having problems to understand what kind of RAM do you need to buy, I suggest that you go to a physical store. I'm sure you will find help there! :)

I unfortunately encountered a similar issue with Windows 10.
I had to uninstall Windows 10 from my laptop and revert to the Windows 7 version that I previously used.

Increasing virtual memory was the path I chose and it seems to have been an adequate solution without falling back to older technology. I am sure Windows will apply a permanent fix before long.

Why don't we sell the computer with 5GB???

What a genius analysis!
Yes, any device has to satisfy some financial considerations.

I have a Acer laptop with 2GB RAM. I know its a very low amount of memory but still it doesn't pose any problem and its good.

I have an older Dell Netbook with 2Gb ram and that is plenty to load my complete Linux OS and Firefox into memory and run it with no problems.

I actually don't even remember what my laptop's RAM is. It is almost 3 years old and an HP Envy which is about all I know about it. I don't really have anything installed on it and only use it for working online. So of course, I don't get the low memory warnings.

If it has Windows, click start and right click My Computer to select properties. That page should list the stats of your computer including how much Ram is installed.
