Oh yes. I have a Google+ profile having signed up some time ago. But due to my divided attention with other online endeavours, I haven't been able to network using it but I look forward to being active in future especially when dealing with referral links to online sites which I sign up to work for. I like the easy user interface of Google+ and its fast loading speed.

Update: After posting this I canceled my Google+ account. I still have other Google accounts but I had my blog connected with Google+ so when I was posting links to my blog I was accused of spamming the network.

Oh that's a shame. How often do you post through your blog? I also did the same for my Google+ account with my newly created travel blog so I am not sure whether I will experience something like this in the future - I hope not!

I wonder why they would do that to you! I share my blog posts, and other writing sites that I am on and photos almost every day, but I also reciprocate like/share my circles' work.

I guess that was the point, to share others' work like any other social media sites so our profiles won't look like spam.

I have one, but I don't do a whole lot with it. I'm not sure that I've even looked at it for a year or so. When I've used it, It was more for for keeping in contact with friends and family than for business purposes.

It seems that everything is linked with your account with google these days. Thus I had to make time to created a google profile. Sometimes I got to it to check for any messages. I am still working on my goggle profile. Hopefully it will be better than what it is now.

I have google + profiles that are verified ones for my websites. Those are slightly different as you have to add a verification code to your site. This then ranks the site higher allegedly and helps with SEO. The only down side with google+ is the amount of spammers I get.

So far having a verified google+ account seems good, even if there are hoops to get through. As for the personal google+ accounts I keep them private. By default they are made public, which is annoying so you have to go into settings to adjust them.

Yes, I have my Google+ profile. Someone from my blogging family told me that Google+ would be a good help if you want to spread the links of your blogs. I do it. Most of my blogs that I wrote on Blogjob got views because of Google+. My readers are saying that they got my blog through Google.

I too have one but I'm seriously getting wound up that I'm receiving A LOT of spam at the moment. It's very frustrating because I know which Google+ blog it's coming from, I've even unsubscribed, but I still get like 50-100 notifications every single day! Has anyone else had that happen to them?!?

Yes, the one with my actual name is getting ridiculous amounts of spam even though it goes to the folder I hate it. That's the problem with not knowing you had a google+ profile automatically created. Even though I have made it private, it's too late as they added my address onto a list which has been circulated.

This only applies to old gmail accounts as now you do have to create them as I think there was a breach of privacy with google. My old accounts had an automatic one, and newer ones don't.

Hmm, what kind of spam are you referring to? I haven't encountered anything like it before, though. I am actually getting a bit active using my Google+ profile to promote my blog so I am now following people around I am trying to see whether G+ is something I will like better than Twitter in terms of usability and promoting my blog.

Well, I was invited to like a group and made the mistake of subscribing to it. What I didn't realise was that I'd be getting 50+ notifications from the group every single day. I tried to unsubscribe, but that hasn't helped one iota. It's very annoying to say the least.

Ugh, same here. I don't like automatic anything. Maybe I'll just make a new gmail account as I didn't realize this was the case. I hate having everything linked and synced.

True; spam is irritating. However, you can easily filter and delete such notifications as soon as I come to your email.
