Laptop is more convenient for me than the desktop computer because I can carry it wherever I wanted.

Agreed. Desktop maybe the best alternative for those avid gamer out there (including me), but personally I think it takes a lot of room spaces. Of course, it uses more plug sockets, which means higher electricity usage - I just can't afford such inefficiency due to my strict budget. So.. yeah laptop for the win :)

I can move in different parts of the house, the most comfortable in my case, holding my laptop. Laptop is a convenience for me that is why I prefer it. I can even put it inside a big bag and work in the office. I am just using it for online money making and not for editing and other things so I am comfortable with my lappy.

I always used to like my desktop more but lately I have been using my laptop and like the convenience of being able to take it from room to room. I like the keyboard on my desktop as it's easier to type on it so there benefits to both.

I like my laptop better because it is portable. I use it at home and I use it in school too. We do not have complete IT facilities in school and my laptop helps me teach lessons especially because we do not have complete learning materials. What I usually do is make PowerPoint presentations. We also have one projector only so I definitely maximize the use of my laptop as I usually use it even without a projector. It's great for my writing jobs as well because I can work wherever I go.

Being a gamer, I will always prefer desktops. Laptop processors and graphics simply are not as powerful as those for desktops. Gaming laptops are also notorious for having problems with cooling.

I can say, at home, a Desktop is great having, but as soon as you leave home, you see the advantage of a laptop. I wouldn't give my desktop system at home for any laptop, but I wouldn't refuse a laptop if I could get one.

The desktop is going to be wed out soon in the family users and on-move executive market in my country as the laptop is much easier to be carry around.

You mean MAC is an Apple brand? I did not know that.
Does this mean MAC is as pricey as other Apple products?

I used to have desktops and they worked perfectly for my needs. Then, in 2011, I bought my first laptop and I really enjoyed it in the begining, but as I work with lots of images and so on, it was getting slow and I jumped back to the desktop. I can increase memory capacity ad infinitum, I shall vote for desktops for now.

I like both. I think they both have their purposes and things they can do the best. Computers are very good to have at home or at work because of the separate bigger monitor and in general, the commodity of a desktop. Laptops are very good when travelling or when you're a student because they are like mini-computers, you can just carry them around, but you can't carry a desktop with you everywhere you go.

This is okay. Just be sure to allow your laptop to breathe (ventilate. Laptops that do not have sufficient ventilation have been reported to cause fire-related accidents.

I prefer laptop since it is convenient to bring around the house. When my hubby is sleeping, I will bring my laptop to the living room in order not to disturb him with my typing and clicking the mouse. He hated those click click and tap tap sound
