I am amazed that some of you remember to perform cache clearing operations every day. I should confess that I don't remember this until my laptop starts having issues.

This seems to a practical frequency of clearing caches. I can't imagine myself clearing caches every single day. I would simply forget to perform this operation.

It's like any other good habit, repetition breeds familiarity. I clean my Cache at least every day and often two or three times if needed. I also surf ads, so it helps to stay lean and fast. It only takes a minute and costs nothing, so I do it often.

Click Start.
Enter cmd in the Start menu search text box.
Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
Run the following command: ipconfig /flushdns. If the command succeeds,
the system returns the following message: Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

Thanks for this advice.
Does the method you've prescribe here delete any downloaded files that have not been formally saved?

But, I afraid all the log in details saved will be gone, and I have to re-key in again. Will it?

Not if you use LastPass, you only need to key in one.

If you install CCleaner, it should perform this operation whenever you run it.
