I mostly used filters with my Samsung because of the low quality of picture, but of course, it depends on the model of the phone.

I hadown a S3 Neo that gave me alot of problems, it's common that it's charging system brakes and I paid 45 euro to fix it, the screen broke and it's first fall from around 1 feetand cost me 20 euros more to fix it than a friends iPhone cause it's a Super Amoled screen.
With the Huwaei p 8 lite I am super happy with it: Battery lasts longer, Never broke despite several falls from a truck lol and also they offered me 30 euro insurance for it agains everything(falls, theft eyc.)

You comprehensive review could cause me to reconsider my stance about Chinese products. I especially like the bit about the huawei battery that can reportedly last for 8 hours.

Older Samsung phones tend to become worse and worse after some time. That was the case with my older S Plus. It had a great start, but after 2 years it was almost done, battery wouldn't even last a day on basic use. The P8 lite's battery isn't all that great. You should check P9 or P9lite, I suggest.grecy0905 wrote:Huawei battery last longer. Based on experienced of my friend. All new phones' batteries last significantly greater. I can say that I agree with your statement that Huawei's batteries last longer, but you can't say that Samsung is far behind on this one. They still have some of the best batteries out there, with great fast chargers, but still won't beat P9's 2-day on intense use duration. I don't think there's any battery out there that can beat P9's 3000mAh battery (even S7 Edge with its 3600mAh).Aveatrex wrote:Definetly Samsung lol,the s7 edge is really worthed in my opinion non comparable to huawei sorry huwaei users
Actually, getting some last-gen Huawei is more worth than getting an S7 Edge. P9 from Huawei and, soon, Mate9, are phone easily comparable to the S7 (not Edge, but still S7), that are almost HALF the price. You can get MUUUCH more quality/price ratio from Huawei than from Samsung. However, if you've got that much money to spend, go get the S7 Edge, because it's still the best phone around. But for a lower budget, P9 comes into competition.germainebull wrote:grecy0905 wrote:Huawei battery last longer. Based on experienced of my friend. On the new models, it lasts longer than 8 hours in intensive usage.

Do you, by any chance work at a phone store?
Only the Note 7 has been blowing up. None of the other models have this problem.oldbuddy wrote:I guess it doesn't bother some people that the Samsung phones have been catching fire?

But if you are interested in an option that is cheaper than Samsung, but works almost as well, I'd recommend Xiaomi. Like I said, it's better than Huawei and cheaper than Samsung so it could be a good alternative for you.germainebull wrote:kataomoi wrote:Samsung is better overall, but Huawei is cheaper and does the job if you're not going to be using your phone a lot.
This is a useful comment. Since I'd be using a new smartphone frequently, I guess I'll have to purchase a Samsung product.
