I still use Microsoft Security Essentials it can still detect viruses you just need to update the software.

To prevent viruses or malware from ads, you can install web of trust and adblocker on your browser, my antivirus is Microsoft Defender, and I think this is enough because I am very aware of suspicious viruses from downloads and websites.

Oh, you all are using good antiviruses. I think I am the only one who doesn't prefer antivirus much.

I installed the Microsofts free antivirus Microsoft security essential but never updated it. It's almost a year I didn't formatted my laptop too.

My personal idea but bad idea, without viruses and antivirus computer operates faster.

True, your computer is run faster without antivirus, but you don't have any protection. I would not add my flash drive into your computer than in my. It would be probably some virus or something else.

I am using Linux Mint Sonya so virus is not a problem to me, but before using this S.O. I had Windows 10 installed on my pc and as having bitdefender free or avast as antivirus. :mrgreen:

I used Trend Micro before.
But now I'm using Kaspersky it's two years subscription.
so it's cheaper than trend micro

I'm cheap, so I use the free version of AVG. It hasn't failed me yet, so it must not be that bad.
