Anyway, I agree with you. It's so unfortunate but we have to deal with it like that, since we can't force our thoughts on them. Spending much time online even though it can be fun, it has disadvantages for the students.ahmedo24 wrote:People who need money from social media always plan their schedule such that they don't over stay, but most students could spend half of their day on different platforms just for fun
It's good that you already know the bad side of it. At least, you can try to balance it so that it won't affect your studies, some students don't know that.happycamper wrote:I am a University student so I'm really immersed in my studies but guess what ! STUDENTS CAN DO BOTH! We can study and be ressourceful enough to make time to sometimes use our phones to chat with out friends or see whats going around the world! And whats so wrong about watching dog videos on Instagram lol![]()
There are people, though, who really are addicted to their social media and their phones! And that is a big problem ! But people will learn with consequences that you just can't spend all your time on social media.

But I'm also a pre-med student and my grades are actually great. I'm on here trying to make extra cash, I'm also looking forward to selling clothes soon on depop. It's just a matter of priorities and I've learned how to manage my time since most of it is actually spent in front of books.

They're more busy interacting with their friends in online rather studying at school and at home. We can't blame them because it's a trend now and technology is evolving every year.
