No I don't think people can fall in love on the Internet. Falling in love is still very personal and it's something that you need to do face to face. You can however meet someone via the Internet and that could be the start of a relationship that blooms into true love.

It should also be remembered that there are plenty of scam sites out there, paid sites that attract people and build up a relationship with them but they aren't real. The replies they get are just ordinary people who answer their messages and have no intention of meeting them only to keep them spending their money. The people who work these sites get paid for sending the replies and the profiles are completely fake.

Some have successful relationship but many were failure, it maybe depend to how it started.

I agree that it's wise to be careful, but I do know of people who have found love online. When both are honest and talk often, it's easy to feel close to someone. Things might change when you get to know them in person, but sometimes, it works out.

I have several friends who had a relationship with the FB friends. They got married and became successful. I believe it's a case to case basis.

Well I think you can find love online. But you have to get to know the person very well. and even
then they could be lying to you. Falling in love is scary and almost impossible for me to do.
Overall I must say that you have to be careful of cat fishes. People hiding behind fake profile pics of models etc.
A good way to catch a cat fish is to ask them to talk on the phone. But even that is not full proof.
Another way is to simply tell them video chat. If they always say no and wont prove they are the person in the pics.. then there is a bit chance they are a cat fish.

Also dating sites are a living hell. It's mostly all the ugly people no one wants. So that's not a good place to look for love either.
