It's normal for women and also some men like to take picture with themeselves and post it in social media. It's normal for all of us.

I was addicted to selfies when I was younger, back then we didn't even call them selfies.
But after so many years, I got sick of that.
I don't know if it's about taking the selfie alone, or if it's more because of the likes and compliments those selfies receive once posted via social media.

I do not take selfies and post them on Facebook.But then I do not post any photos on Facebook.I do think there are both girls and boys taking selfies often. If it makes them happy,then that is what matters. To each his/her own.

Yeah, women are really addicted to taking pictures, you know why? It's because they wanted to show off. lol
It doesn't really matter as long as it does not affect their daily lives/routines.

I do take selfies or a photo of anything I want to capture. When I was still single, I happen to post selfies (not sexy or anything just bare face) on my old Facebook account. By then, didn't know the cons it will bring me. Some people used my photos to create fake accounts to ruin me. The cyber world is cruel. So, be careful ladies on what you post. You never know who's envy or who has bad plans towards you. I then deactivated my account when I got married. My husband and I agreed not to use our old Facebook accounts. We created dummy ones for communication with families and few of trusted friends.

Anyone who knows why men take selfies once a year? I know men are rarely self conscious but I want to know the main reason why they never take selfies

I don't consider it an addiction.It is just like a hobby.An innocent hooby.I would like if that would be the only addiction in the world. It would be a "wonderful,wonderful world"how the song is.

It is easier now to take photos and share them quickly with friends. If you took a bad photo you can always take another one so that is how convenient it is. I think that is one of the reasons why someone might get addicted into selfies or photo journaling/blogging. If it will cost you a few bucks to take photos and have them developed the old way then I guess we will not even be talking about selfies

I like to take pictures of myself but not to the point of addiction. Its sad that it has got this bad.
