Pet Owners-People who make blogs of their pets. Grumpy cat's owner is the best example because she had hundred million dollar empire because of her cat.


Food Porn makers- People who take pictures of their food.


Celebrities- Look at all the ad sponship they get


DIY tutorial influencers- People who make tutorials. They could be a beauty guru, Recipe creator, Arts and crafts trend maker. They teach people to do it their own.


Artists- People who draws, paint and sculpts

I haven't always been an Instagram fan but that all changed when offers started rolling in for individuals with a large following on IG. Large companies would hire such people to do marketing for their products. Basically the marketing branch of the company would posts photos and links of their products through your IG account and with every successful sale arising from the link on your account, you would earn a certain percentage. They hired lots of affiliates and even people like me who were never interested suddenly made haste and gathered followers from wherever we could. It was all good till they started paying peanuts and eventually got tired of paying up. Now I use Instagram to check out cool memes to post on my WhatsApp status.

Yes, I use it and as a matter of fact, it is good because it keeps me busy while am idle, and it is entertaining.

It doesn't have to be just selfies. Some people take pictures of their products, projects, etc. to share. It can be used for business or personal.

I am glad I read this thread, because I have been thinking about activating my IG activity to post thumbnails for the tutorial videos I have on YouTube and get more subscribers.

The next questions, is how would I get targeted visits to my IG account? Almost seems like it would be easier to just promote YouTube directly.

I don't use Instagram but I have a little bit interest, I only use Facebook and Twitter. I think people who often use Instagram loves taking pictures of their experiences in life including their friends, siblings, families etc.
