We have slow internet connection in our country, it has something to do with the company service. Though I still believe that it is faster compared to others.

its not good if your source of living is online.. and your internet connection is too slow! like a snail i pity those countries with such very slow internet providers

The problem could be from two sources, it either from your device or from the internet service provider. If it is from device then there is need for thorough check on the device in the form of upgrade but if it from ISP it is advisable to change it

All of the devices or smartphones have WIFI so I don't think it's in the end device issue, but it is in the ISP that provide data or bandwidth. In our country, there's called fair policy so our internet access is limited.

What kind of net are you using? Mine is unlimited plan don't have a data limit. I have experienced that before having a data limit and stuck your internet connection and work is always delayed and makes my employer mad that we can't talk to skype properly so I don't have a choice but to load my cellular data for internet use and way much more expensive.

Our internet speed is just right but we have a limit on data we use every month. It's really annoying to have slow internet especially if your working online

I never experienced dial up only the 3G mobile connection and I still use it as well. It's pretty decent when you just browse and not for heavy downloading or Youtube streaming.

It is time to save up some money for at least 5mbps internet. Yes it is more expensive but the advantages you will get may lead to career opportunities.

Is it the Edge connection or like EGPRS that I'm seeing in the signal bar? It's quite a jump, from 2G to 4G, you skipped 3G connection which is also a decent connection which is good for some downloads and browsing.

It is always frustrating to operate with such internet. It is even worse when you use internet for enterpreneurial purposes. I suggest you try relocating to a place where you can find faster connections if the problem is your locality. However in the case that it is the device or network you use that has issues it is pretty simple to switch.

Go with Satellite internet if you can't get a good internet connection in your location but it's too expensive so if you can't afford it's bills check 4G/3G networks in your country.

Contact the call center of your ISP and make a complaint until they fix it.
