I'm using both Dsktop and Laptop. But of course I prefer using laptop since it's very handy. I can carry it any where.

Laptop is better as long as you can afford the latest version. It gets the work done and doesn't take a lot of space.

For me it's my desktop, I seem to be able to type faster on it although I wouldn't be without my laptop because it's handy to take places when I am on vacation or somewhere else where there is wifi.

@Jillian, that is very true but i think that desktop computer can also be upgrade so you dont have anything to say if you cant defend laptop as well
laptop parts can also be replace and that is good enough.

Both has good and different criteria. Laptop is convenient to use you can carry it anywhere, anytime you wanted just charge it and go you can use it. While the desktop is just on the one side corner of the house and need to be with electric supplies well it has a way bigger screen and can accept a lot and big software well laptop can also work with that but the desktop you don't need to worry especially when you are playing games because you may easily change the keyboard especially when it was overuse unlike the laptop that the keyboard is build in and if damage you need to bring it the entire whole unit to the shop.

I prefer using Laptop and that is I dont like desktop because some desktop do give us some problem from the mother board and that is where majority of the system problem do arise.
Why with laptop it is easy to carry along and go anywhere you want with it.

Laptops are more problematic than desktop because there are fewer repairment who can fix them. Motherboards can easily be replaced. If a laptop got broken, you might as well throw it because it will get broken again on shorter time.

This question usually comes down to one simple response question: How important is portability?
If portability is a high priority, then you’re best to invest in a laptop.

That is not really the problem the problem here is that laptop and desktop are not the same price some desktop are cheap while laptop are expensive this two device can be purchase at a good rate.

I prefer performance over portability and when it comes to portability, tablet is better than laptop. I prefer desktop for performance.

When I am at work I use a desktop but at home I work more on my iPad instead of the laptop, I think it is easy to handle and we can use it everywhere.

I started with desktop some 20 years back. I do not remember working on any desktop in last 10 years. It is only laptop and I like it as it is mobile and easier to carry.
