Me too, able to access via my laptop and mobile when I am outside, so there is no issue to be connected anytime except there is not data connection.

I have Checker Plus for Gmail installed in my browser. And I did set the checking intervals at 5 minutes. Therefore, I check my emails every five minutes. Why I did so is because of not wanting to miss out important correspondences from my clients and other notifications like website comments.
