But all the creepy pasta like slender man and those characters are fiction .

Scary stories where cool even before, from Dracula to Frankenstein evven Macabre Comedy like the Aams Family or the Munsters. GooseBumps etc.

I always equate it to their addiction to the high of being shocked, a bit like a rollercoaster ride. You can't experience that kind of quick spurt of adrenaline with romantic movies, for example.

because of the thrill and excitement, and some out of this world beliefs and makes our imagination explore just like one of my favorite shows supernatural, it makes me feel confuse like is it real? does it exist? that superpowers is true....Admit it even we are not young enough we still imagine that sometimes we had some abilities.

Not all scary stories on Youtube might be true. However, there is a documentary program called as "A Haunting" that claims to show true stories and interviews people about their paranormal experiences. However, I don't know how reliable they are. There have been many documentary programs that have been exposed as fake. Their main aim is to run the channel and make money.
