Based on my light experience, you can earn money if you have decent amount of follower's through Loot! in iOS, when you post a tweet they will reward you with cash.

As a webmaster you can't use the one without the other IMO.
It's pretty basic why.
Twitter does not allow you to inform into great detail about everything that you do, Facebook does allow this.
If you want to use them, you should use Twitter as and fast and easy way to let the world know about daily events in the business and Facebook to really write everything out with pictures and such also

Yeah you're right but facebook can do what Twitter can do too, It's just like twitter expertise is focusing on informing about other people's tweet. Just like on facebook if you'll post something then the other people needs to refresh or click home to see your post on their newsfeed.

To determine which one is best, I think it depends on why you use them. I tend to use Facebook for personal stuff, like catching up with friends and family. I use Twitter with my blog. So, I don't really have an overall "best," but each one is best for certain things, in my opinion.

Twitter also have a lot of fakes, just people are lazy to use them. Unlike Facebook, some people actively use fake profiles to hide their own.

True most of our friends are online in Facebook so tendency when you post in Twitter you will receive no or late response so it's kind of boring.

Doesn't it depend on usage? Twitter seems such a mess and you're restricted in the size of your messages. FB allows a bit more in-depth discussion.

I use Twitter for shorter messages. Twitter is good for that especially when marketing my stuff or even my products. On the other hand, I use Facebook for longer kind of messages and posts. Facebook has readers willing to read longer posts. If its a longer video for an example, Facebook does so.
Winding up, to me all sites are best since each has a separate task it does for me.

I have around 150 followes for my website twitter account. I have 400 plus followers for the facebook page for my website. For me facebook is better than twitter because I gain more traffic from facebook than from twitter because of the number of followers I have.
