Yup since facebook allows you to montized all content, then you are able to earn more.
But I think videos pay more as they have high paying video ads in them. But overall
I think that it's great we can earn from memes etc.
They promote being a gamer on there a lot it's pretty cool.

I have to laugh. AT MYSELF! And I am so annoyed with myself. It took me FOREVER to finally decide to even create YouTube video. I finally create a video that's less than a minute which is a major accomplishment for me. And now this! People are going over to Facebook. I could just kick myself!!

You are not alone my friend. Many people, including myself, had high hopes in being a youtuber. But those are now mostly gone since youtube has a lot of confusing and constantly flip flopping rules.

If your video is not appealing to children and is not r-18. I think you won't have any worries. No way on earth you make elsagate videos. Its what they want to combat.

Got a question. If youtube now asks if a video is made for children or not then does that mean that sexual videos can now be posted since it can be labeled as not made for children?

Not sexual content, just PG 13. In case of Youtube I think ASMR channels, Beauty channels , Story telling Vlogs ,fishing channels and cooking channels will be the only ones you will be able to monetized. If you play Fortnite, Dead By Daylight and overwatch, those are easy to monetize too.

For now I am having fun making shows will be awesome once I can monetize.

Americans the fate of the world relies on your hands. Contact FTC on their official social network about the mess they make does not protect children but harms ordinary Youtube channels instead.

Well they will eventually be forced to change their terms and services as soon as they stop making money off of Youtube. But even then many people will still keep using youtube. Let's see what happens...honestly...I am giving up on youtube now.

Yes what they should be doing is going after the predator channels and profiles on there which are the real problem and danger. Not fine people who are just making fun videos for kids who are just trying to make a living being creative. But yes I think that they need to go after the bad guys and shut all that down. :D

How do you get sued in youtube? I did not see that in the clip posted. Also I personally think that they would immediately sue you. They would first send you a warning before they sue you.

Its FTC and coppa who will sue you. If you marked your channel as not for kids but the algorithm see it as for kids, Time to get your lawyer. You will be sued for "endangering" the privacy of chill run.

I don't quite understand why this case YouTube will sue you ?(even no monetization case?) if opposite situations, channel marked as kids but not, he will be sued for sure

Its not Youtube who will do the suing. Its the FTC, an American government department.

Speaking of rated R.... You can stream games on Pornhub.... Either play a popular PC game with nude mods or play popular dating sims like the upcoming Huniepop 2.

fergus1234 wrote:Last year Youtube killed adult channels because they want the content to be family friendly. Now they are killing family content too as a way to protect children due to ftc, coppa and the elsagate video problem.

The creator of Babyshark will lose a lot of money because kid channels will lose 90% of their ads. Adult channels may finally have a comeback since they might get ads again but what if you dont know what to categorize your channel. If your channel is said to be for kids but you dont categorize it for kids, You will get sued for $42,000.

I hope Facebook kicks Youtube's butt now. They are making money making there harder. Influencers from my country transferred to Facebook now after this crap.

Now your channel have to be pg-13 but if it's seen by coppa as for kids eventhough you dont see this as for kids you will get sued. I can see animators quitting youtube after this.

What if one is making Food Reviews, Shopping Hauls etc, where kids are nowhere in scene and there is no sensitive material?
Is there anything in the new rules regarding this?
