For a future mother, this period is fascinating, it is something you can't forget all your life. But we must not forget the benefits that come for women who can not have children or can not support a pregnancy to the end with this technology.

Also it can end the abortion debate since unwanted babies can continue living in artificial wombs until they get to be put up to adoption.

This technology can be also used to repopulate endangered animals. Imagine scientist can make 10 elephants with 10 of these bags.

Then more babies will be aborted. The purpose of artificial womb is to keep the baby alive because the mom doesnt want it. It is also created for women who have no ability to get pregnant.

That technology is amazing and kudos to scientists for inventing it. It would help a lot for premature babies to survive and live healthily. Babies born prematurely then continue their physical development with this technology would reduce their chance of getting more health problems later in their lives.

I wish they could repopulate the Woolly Mammoth. I don't know if these will disrupt the food chain that leads to ecological imbalance.

This is good news but isn't it expensive to use fhis artificial womb? Most pregnant teens would not pay for this unless the barren women are willing to pay for it.

Scientific advancements and technological advancements can be a boon as well as a bane. And this one would be another one that can prove both ways. Nature is the smartest and we have to accept it. We know how pregnancy and natural womb will be significant in providing lot more than the physical development. We have experienced it and we have enough scientific evidences to show that the connection of mom and unborn baby is beyond the physical seen and evaluated by the technology advancements like ultrasound and scans. And a human baby needs that.
This technology can be a boon only if it's used in a limited way to benefit in the cases that you mentioned. It should not become a practice for those who can afford it.

Just when we start seeing so many negative sides of Science and Technology, we see something that can be a savior.
In this case of Premature babies and those with other problems.
I hope that this Technology is put to good use.

This will be good for trans women and cis women who cannot carry a baby for medical reasons. This will definitely help out many people who want to have their own children.

I personally feel it would help all women remember Kim Kardashian? She had her womb all messed up hence she can never have babies of her own- ever again. This is awesome I think.
I lost a baby too sometime this year, hence I have been antisocial, and dealing with my depression.

As a premie, I love this technology!

This is a better way to monitor the health of the baby early on so that medical care can be given. Is see that there is still an umbilical cord so doctors can know right away if the cord gets wrapped around the baby's neck and do something about it. It's amazing!
