When i first heard the word trolls the first thing that comes to my mind is the cartoon, seriously. But this issue just so threatening to each student especially those trolls with regard to DDS cause some of the students are having their duplicate account which was manage by other people. It was alarming because if that troll account posted something against the government the troll account might be accused and the name of the person might be in danger. That's how it works

Fortunately for me I'm not popular enough for trolls to care. I delete unwanted comments. If it's a comment that really disturbs me I may take the extra step and report it.

This thing with trolls is that you have to engage them. That's how they keep foolishness going on. I don't engage them. But I do wish there was a Delete Button.

Thankfully, Facebook eradicated some DDS pages that only propagate fake news and hate speech towards activists and human right groups. Now, our coward president asked the Facebook to stop deleting their paid fake news proliferating pages and also suggested to take down the anti-government pages like Rappler, which is one of the credible source of news in this country.

The fact is that being very active on social media, especially YouTube can be risky. We have even heard of news about some folks making politically sensitive videos and getting threatening phone calls.
Some journalists even faced attacks on their lives.

They have a quota, they got paid whenever someone replies to them. Ignore and report is the best way to destroy them.

Trolls are everywhere, even trolls are trolled in India. I do troll the trolls by mocking their stupid and unrelated posts. However later I understood that if they are not ignored, they will make their worth(less).

I don't really trust facebook fact checks. As they are a left leaning company. They of course will even
say lies that benefit their agenda is true. And anything that hurts their agenda as false.
But they got scared when the NY Post a real news source posted a lot of dirt on Biden.
They even blocked it from being shared... i don't see that curbing trolls..
i see it trying to control the flow of info which is dangerous..
