Re: Purchasing clothes onlines

Postby GuestHu » 04 Jul 2020, 11:37

During this pandemic, it is a better option. However, if we return to normal I would rather go the clothing store than buying online. I want to touch the fibre of a particular clothe that catches attention to check how thick and comfortable it is. Plus, I want to know if that cloth fits me and suits me.

If you are buying online clothes when there is a big sale, do not expect to return it back in order to change the size or color because that is the rule. No trade in, no exchange allowed. Usually I buy at Padini.com where the clothes are super cheap, $10 for cotton material. T shirts and working clothes are really cheap but don't expect to get the right size because different design different sizes, same same but different

Hahaha your comment made me laugh out loud!  As a general rule, I find designer gear tends to be small sizes. But non-designer stuff sizes are usually more generous. I find this annoying and just wish sizes were standard across the board i.e a size 8 should be the same wherever you go! This way, people wouldn't worry about getting their size wrong.

I prefer purchasing my clothes offline, especially in the market or in a store. I like checking them out, even trying them out and bargaining the price😂.

You can get scammed though, There are women who ordered a dress and what they receive are either outfits for children or outfits for Barbie dolls.

Because of the Covid-19, people are preferring to shop online more. The best way to guard against covid is to stay at home, so that has increased the usage of online shopping globally.

In as much as I like and support ordering for things online because it saves time. But there are some things to consider before ordering online to avoid stories like "what I ordered vs what I got". Most times, products advertised online are not what they look like or seem offline. But getting clothes directly from the store gives the privilege of fitting in them before purchase.

You are right @ nellie , most times the clothes advertised are more attractive that what they when you eventually gets them, it more reason why buying online is not advisable.

I have been purchasing clothes online for quite a few years now. In the quarantine days, I have purchased 4 shorts and the purchase went perfectly well. I was careful to select the size while purchasing though.

If only I couldn't get the kinds of clothes I need, I go for online purchases. Sometimes what you need may be advertise online and it's yet to reach actual store
