I watch the programme Catfish and it absolutely amazes me what people will do in the name of love. I watched one recently where the guy had been talking to someone he thought he was in love with for 10 years but only through messaging and they had never spoken on the phone. It turned out the woman was a complete fake and was using pictures of someone else. Another woman had been sending money to someone she thought she loved. Wouldn't alarm bells ring if someone who refused to meet asked you for money?
