I heard about that new strain of covid, many countries are now putting restrictions to travellers from UK, including my country.

I have read that there are currently more than 50 Covid-19 vaccine candidates in trials, and WHO is working in collaboration with scientists and global health organizations to speed up the process. When a safe and effective vaccine is found, they will facilitate the distribution of these vaccines to protect people in all countries.

The vaccines for Covid 19 haven't arrived yet . People especially the lay man takes this dreaded disease so unserious in my place that they barely adhere to laid down cautions on this disease. I will be very glad if these vaccines reaches us and works perfectly well to stop the spread of this disease.

The EU approved Pfizer vaccine today and the vaccination will start after Christmas. I don't know why Eu took so long to approve the vaccine, we all know that the sooner the better against this virus.

Just heard the news about some new coronavirus that is spreading & growing rapidly. The variant is the result of multiple mutations in the spike protein of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.

Scientists believe that the vaccine will be just as effective despite the variants. Most countries have shut their borders to the UK because it is spreading so rapidly here.

In Brazil vaccination won't begin before march (or in the middle of 2021). The first will be doctors, nurses, health workers. As a teacher, I possibly go for second or third round vaccination, maybe the end of next year.

It makes me wonder if I have to pay money for the vaccinations. Oh there is a new strain of Covid 19 in the UK so those vaccines might be useless to the new strain

Scientists say there is no evidence to suggest the vaccine will not work on the new strain although it is very worrying. My friend's brother in law has been recovering for two weeks and seemed better until last night when he deteriorated and was taken to hospital. It is a very unpredictable disease.

It has begun. It's sad what Africans perceive. We are being bashed cause of our beliefs and it's not cool.

I will still wear mask after I get vaccinated just to be safe. It's better to be safe than sorry.
