First thing that movie is a horror, I watched it too.
The major question was not how an account got hacked if a person is dead, but a major topic of that movie was a pressure put on a youth on the social media that CAN turn into a real life horror.
If an account is hacked, person is dead and somebody is using it you can either report abuser to the Facebook, or abuse the abuser and include other people into this as well.
An invitation is quite easy to create.

I know two of my online friends were dead, and their accounts are still circulating. Also, their content and photos are being lifted too. It is bad!

Why is it so bad? They are dead and have no further use for anything, what's so terrible about someone else getting some benefit from it? I hope someone comes along and makes a fortune from all the hard work I have put in over the last 20 years.

I would freak out.

In some cultures, such an occurrence would trigger various emotions. Certain people would be freaked out. Others would contact religious leaders to exorcise this 'demon'. Lol
