If the internet was to go down, we would have a major problem with telecommunication... Think of banks!

I'd cry internally first. Then I'd probably read a book, go to the gym and watch TV or see a movie. There are loads of things you can do outside of the internet but it would be devastating if it suddenly was "shut off".

There would be plenty of things to do. I would just have to think about everything I used to do prior to when the internet went mainstream. We would all have one less addiction. :)

Ironically, I actually had a little taste of this yesterday. We woke up Saturday morning to find that our modem was flashing red and of course, there was no internet connection....not good! We tried to reset the modem a few times, but that didn't work. We called our service provider, only to be told that it was due to the heavy rains, blustery wind, thunder and lightening we got on Friday. What's worse, we wouldn't get any help until Monday!

In the end we went into town to while the time away. By the time we got back home around 4pm, the internet was back....phew! I can tell you, it wasn't nice at all.
