Accused of spamming the network. I always use Google+ for sharing my blog posts. I was doing this since Bubblews days. I wonder why someone should need to do it, but anyway, you should continue sharing your post at Google+, it is not spamming if you just do it once per blog you do.

Update: After posting this I canceled my Google+ account. I still have other Google accounts but I had my blog connected with Google+ so when I was posting links to my blog I was accused of spamming the network.

I have one and I do not even know how I got it. I do not use it. I wish it was listed in that share app of chrome.

Google automatically created one for me in the past when I was browsing Youtube. I have one but I never really use it outside of programming groups sometimes.

Yes, @fergus1234. Google+ has had a second data breach exposed not fairly not ago. Because user data and information has been exposed and also the fact that customer usage rate was low anyway, it's shutting down. @cmoneyspinner, I think you can testify to this when I see the platform is a liability for Google in some sense.

It's real! Google posted it at their blog. The projected date is Aug 2019. I'm glad they are not trashing Blogspot. I know they don't do much to maintain it but I like having a free blogging platform. Google Plus is staying open for businesses. But individual consumers like you or me won't have a G+ account. I'm taking some of my G+ posts and recycling them to my Instagram account.

Yes recycling old posts is a good idea. Instagram can do well than blogs.

If I am not mistaken they said within ten months they will phase it out could be sometime in May or June . This is what google had to say-

“The consumer version of Google+ currently has low usage and engagement: 90 percent of Google+ user sessions are less than five seconds."

Google also said that it discovered a bug which enabled unscrupulous people to access to personal information from users who had made the choice to keep some information private, like email addresses, occupations, gender, age, and names.
Google vehemently claims that no one got their hands to the data and they discovered the bug which is highly unlikely.
Google like FB is knows how to play its games, they know all the loopholes and make sure they never really get caught.
