I prefer a laptop because it is portable. I can use it anytime I want anywhere. In case of a power outage I can not operate a desktop but a laptop can store charge even if for a few hours.

Sure. laptops are portable and you can use them from the comfort of your sofa or while lying at the bed.

I prefer laptop since it is convenient to bring around the house. When my hubby is sleeping, I will bring my laptop to the living room in order not to disturb him with my typing and clicking the mouse. He hated those click click and tap tap sound

No one wants disturbances while sleeping. A desktop would be worse as it produces more noise compared to a laptop.

I have used a Desk Top now more than 10 years back! I have got two lap Tops with me. Both are from Acer Company! I prefer Laptop to desktop any time. For it is compact, portable, has battery backup and easy to clean!
