I have just read some news articles that have caused me to being reevaluating my preference for Samsung products. These news articles have shown that Samsung is not very keen on vetting the parts (mostly batteries) that are shipped in by Chinese suppliers.

This seems to be interesting news. I would like to read these. Do you mind sharing the urls?

For me Samsung is and will always be the best option available. Till date all the phones that I have bought are all Samsung.I simply love their display and access.

I second you. My last Samsung phone did not bring any problems until it was stolen. I only bought a different brand as replacement because I could not find a viable Samsung gadget within my desired price range.

Samsung is great but I do think they have problems which make it awful. I am currently having a problem as the battery has slightly expanded (maybe due to over heating) and the back of my phone is now coming out on one side.

This is a real problem. I remember observing such mishaps on phones other than Samsung.
Are you sure this is a genuine Samsung phone?

Only the Note 7 has been blowing up. None of the other models have this problem.

Thanks for making this clarification. It is necessary for people to desist from sensationalizing the incident of Samsung batteries blowing up. Objectivity is a virtue.

I hear that Samsung is planning to reintroduce refurbished versions of the Galaxy Note 7 gadgets.

My husband and I are huge fans of Samsung and Apple and have their various devices. I have never used Huawei, but its popularity is preading like wildfire in Botswana. At first I was a little snobby towards the brand, but the more I see of it, the more I like it. Huawei phones take some of the best pictures, too.

Samsung phones are way better than Huawei in terms of quality.Price wise I would go for Huawei given that their phones pack high end feature in a friendly budget.

Really?! I could've sworn there was another model here that blew up on so many ocassions that it was banned on flights. I'd have to check and come back to you, because I don't quite remember which one it was.

I love the Samsung phone, but when I first got one a few years ago, the very first month my screen turned green, the phone went out and never came back on. I had to take it back to the place I got it from and get another one. The second phone they gave me just last year it would not hold a charge while the phone was on, so I had to send it back and get a replacement, well the replacement phone was doing the exact same thing. I said oh boy this Samsung Galaxy S5 did not work out for me, I would like to try the new one that is out now. It has a nice sleek design to it.

Huawei are also good phones only that Samsung is a bigger brand. Very soon Huawei will reach the level of Samsung.

I think both are as good as any but the only difference is Samsung is more popular among the users. If you compare both of them based on component, rates or features you will find Huawei is way better.

Huawei phone are also cheaper than Samsung.

SAMSUNG has been always my favorite brand. I already have one two models. Nice Camera, Network coverage always at it's best and I get surf online even I'm only using data.

Well, I got a Huawey Y5 II and I'm really happy with it.
Runs fast, installes apps fast (be sure to get an SD card), and serves me as a mobile router.

Can't think of a better phone.

I use a huawei phone and I've used a Samsung 6s before. They're both very good, but I like the hyawei one better mostly because of the quality of pictures

I hate Samsung, I had several troubles with Samsung equipments, for instance my mobile phone stopped working after six months. My table had issues with the battery and my TV's sound stopped working. About Huaway I don't know the equipments to make a judgment, my advice is stay way from Samsung.

I've always known Samsung products to be of high quality as compared to other brands. I doubt how you had troubles with those Samsung products unless they were clones. There are many counterfeit products that give Samsung a bad reputation.

My contract runs out very soon so I will be able to choose a new phone. The battery on my Samsung is now very poor and I often have to charge it twice a day so I'm thinking of trying something else.

Samsung is a good phone I have been having them for a while now. The only problem with this model is the upgrading of the system and apps all the time but otherwise it's good I have never regretted ha ing it. I hear good things about Huawei as well but I have never had one.
