Re: Online movies

Postby OldGuy » 01 Dec 2017, 11:11

Although I have purchased DVDs to watch movies, I do have a good high speed internet connection and enjoy watching movies online. I have seen the buffering delay from time to time, but that is rare here.

MY all time favorite place to watch movies free online is at ffilms.org
Note: You may prefer to just click on the top left x on the pop up box to close the sign up window. I have not signed up for anything and watch movies there without a problem. My brother clicked on the sign up screen and told me he encountered enough complications to give up.

I have probably watched more than 1000 movies just on that site. (The double f is "free films") They don't have every movie, and some end up being removed from time to time, but the variety they do have is astounding.

I have seen some that include subtitles, but I believe the displayed content depends on the source. Since most I have watched are in English, I have not even looked to see if there are any other translations available. I do recall there were many movies in languages other than English that I skipped because I did not understand the dialog. It did not even occur to me to check those for any English subtitles. Maybe I should go look again!

Now that we have Roku, I have lots of stuff to stream from my TV. I still watch some stuff on my computer though, depending on what's going on in the living room at the time (or if someone else is watching TV or using the computer that's in there). I may cancel Netflix and give Sling TV a try.

I watch online movie stream. It's convenient especially if your internet connection is fast. After I watched movies, most of the time, I do not watch it repeatedly. For me downloading movies online cover lots of my time. Although, I just need to wait for it to complete, it still is a slow process. Another fact is, it is kind of dangerous to download for some download sites gives you virus.

It all started when my kids subscribed to Netflix and then I noticed my other kids looked elsewhere online for their entertainment. Then I discovered there are lots of sites to watch movies and TV series online. Most of the time I end up watching TV series.

You have a point , infact most time one may not be able to watch it at his or her conviniency, the speed of the internet determines when to watch movies online

CHeck the channel name before going for the video, never trust the thumbnail which is used as bait to lure visitors.

I prefer to watch new movies offline because the playback of the video is continuous unlike in online that it logs for sometime.
