In my opinion Laptops are mobily and easier to take with you , but are not as powerfull as PCs , so if you are not going to run some heavy task you can go with a Laptop.

I don't know what you are doing but I do find it kind of super lame ...
You COPY PASTE a whole text from somewhere on the net that you CLEARLY did not write.
Are you that desperate to get ForumCoins?

I mean no offense over here, but I don't think that that is how it is supposed to work.

That's what I have noticed too.. most of his threads are clearly copy paste and that't not fair. :/
And when I told him about it he simply ignored me.

I think best is to have both. Good PC for games, work or anything you need and portable cheap laptop for traveling.

I am not a heavy gamer myself so I guess I am good with my laptop. The main reasons why I use a computer is to work from home and stay connected with the world and my friends. I can accomplish all of those mentioned with my laptop. I can be mobile with my laptop which is needed on my type of lifestyle.

Laptop = Portability and doesn't need electricity because it has batteries. (Until the battery runs out)
Desktop = Still superior than Laptop in terms of overall usage.

Laptop can support my needs because it is convenient for me to use it to do my homework or to do my project. Secondly, laptop has battery so when electricity has problem, we can continue doing our work and save the file.

the one big difference i have noticed about a desktop and a laptop is the keyboard. the keyboard on the desktop seems to be more durable, i have replaced my keyboard like 3 times for my laptop the keys always seem to fade.

paulojunior85 wrote:Face the first major advantage of a laptop over a desktop is portability. Being small and light, the laptop can be carried anywhere and anytime.

In addition, their food is made by cables or batteries. This means that if you have power available to use your notebook, you can continue using it through the battery.

Another undeniable advantage is the size. If you are accustomed to using desktop computers probably will feel the difference right away when using a notebook: it will seem strange. But after a few hours of use you will notice the advantage that it is able to have an efficient and smaller computer in your hands.

If you use your computer for games or watch many videos, or even view photos, imagine doing all this on a larger screen! If you have a TV with HDMI input, and a note with the same input you can connect your computer to your TV set. By doing so your TV will replace the monitor of your notebook offering you best and highest quality picture and sound.

Regarding the media, the notebooks offer all the basic support for their users can communicate: the speakers and microphone are integrated into the computer, and most models also have built-in webcam.

You can also customize your notebook with films and adhesives as well as help protect your computer from dirt still leave you with your way and according to your taste.

I appreciate that you have taken the time to provide a breakdown of the pros of using a laptop over a desktop.

It'll be great to add that a laptop enables a user to conduct local searches easier.

For example, i I want to search for a specific document, I'll simple go to the start button and type the relevant search term on the provided window.

I used to have both but now none. I prefer smartphone but yes you guessed it right, has limited options as many sites are still not compatible for mobile devices.
I still won't be able to find enough seat time to operate a computer or carry laptop everywhere I go, connect it and start working in between my busy schedules like I can with a smartphone. So although each has it's own advantages I would choose them on preferance basis. :)

Just yesterday I connected my smartphone to a kids ride on car and the whole family enjoyed the music and had awesome time!
