Everybody has to accept aging unless they die. Some people age and do what they think is needful to maintain their health. If they think technology is needful they use it. Some people age badly because they beat up their body so that by the time they start aging, they wish they were already dead. I heard a guy say:
"I would have taken better care of my body if I had known I was going to keep it this long."I know lots of healthy people in their 60s and older. They don't suffer from cancer or diabetes or any health problems. The other day a lady who was 128 years old passed away. Evidently, she had been asked what she did to enjoy good health all of her life. She gave credit to her diet of wild spinach and milk.
They have asked that question of many centenarians? Not one of them has given the same answer. I'm amazed at the variety of answers I hear.
There were 2 sisters who were both 100+ years old. You know what their response was when people asked them why did they live so long? They said they always obeyed their parents.
One old guy said he smoked a cigar and drank shot of whiskey every day.
I don't have a special diet or an exercise regimen or anything that I do to specifically promote a long life! For the present, my health is pretty good. IF I ever live to be one hundred, and I still have my good health, I don't really know how to answer it other than ...
"Uuuhhh ... it's just not my time to go!"
