13 billions of ads last year. Bet not even one Billion went to creators.

Remember the way youtube started and emerged as a storm among the tube sites when Internet was still nascent.Down the years,it grown into a behemoth but at the same time getting itself entangled with confusing rules and obnoxious policy changes. It seems to me that they are getting aggressive to turn it more into a premium service like Netflix or Hulu.

Quite an eye opener, but YouTube has revealed a revenue of $15 Billion in the last financial year.

Or they might try to make it into a fully premium service as they are aggressively pushing notices in their app and website.

youtube is a huge source of entertainment and knowledge but some people took it for granted and created nuisance over there and that need to be stopped.

YouTube takes the creators for granted, too.

They don't take Paul Brothers, James Charles, Tana Mongeau and Pewdiepie for granted even though they are the cause of all controversies.

Oh yes they are the cause of all this. yet they are allowed to keep their shows
and be monetized. not fair to other creators.
But Maybe youtube will get better in the future.

It does not appear that YouTube is over. It is perhaps getting some competition though. That's a good thing!

It is really a good thing. Youtubr has been monopolizing the video sharing business since internet started it is tine that this be shared with others

Earning via YouTube has become a hell of a task, probably the site and it's developers have decided to earn extremely more than the actual content providers. They are enjoying Monopoly, I would like another well established company to get into the market and give them a run for the business.

I would love to see that too. Maybe if that happens then youtube would be able to relax some of its rules.

If it's that the type of videos that I won't see on YouTube, it's fine with me.

YouTube is becoming a bad influence to children and teenagers. At least so many contents are.

The thing is, the wrong channels get punished.

Yes it is not fair. Big channels can earn breaking rules.
But small channels who did nothing got demontized like mine.
No matter about to be monetized on facebook gaming so its money time!
