Net-working, American Legion, keeping in touch with my Vietnam buddies, for Googling subjects I want to learn about, reading, drawing, programming, and anything else I can think of.

I have a smart phone, 2 desktops, 2 IPAD's, and a laptop, and a Kindle.

I love to learn and the internet has been a good tool for me.

With that being said, in the evening I relax by reading action/adventure novels.

I use internet mainly for earning,I felt it is fun .But high internet charge is the main problem at the month end

Same here, I am using it for everything for last few years from shopping to banking and earning to spending. But the best thing it has done for me I can talk to my loved ones overseas sitting right inside my home.

The internet is one of the must have things in life now for me, just like having electric and heat and water. I don't see myself living without getting internet for my home. I agree, there was time when the pulse rate of talking to someone in other countries was too costly and talking to someone traveling by ship was almost impossible for the cost involved but now it's for free of any charge.

The Internet changed our life enormously, there is no doubt about that. There are many advantages of the Internet that show you the importance of this new medium. Earning money sitting at home was a dream some years before,now I am earning and doing business at home itself. I want to say is that Internet changed our life in a positive way.

My work highly relies on Internet, as I am a software developer, I use Internet to do a lot of researches. Besides the online and freelance work, I also use the Internet to learn and read more information about anything I'd like to learn - kids' education, parenting, crafting, etc. It's also a way for me to get in touch with some friends. Though I don't do much online shopping, it's helpful for me to purchase something that I can't find locally from foreign countries as well.

Though I know I can still live without Internet, it's been so much helpful in our daily life.

I personally use the Internet for miscellaneous activities, such as reading news, watching humor videos, learning to cook for research. I use it to communicate with people, read all sorts of different stuff, watch TV shows/movies, find solutions for whatever problem I have.
In the past, I used to play video games, too, especially MMORPGs, but my interest quickly vanished because money quickly started to become an issue. Beside these, I also make some spare money.

I use the internet in most of those ways you mentioned except I don't really play any games. I also earn some money and giftcards.
