It really depends on your system, if it can handle the graphics or not. One game changed it's graphics and gave me all kinds of trouble at first. I'd rather keep the old stuff and have it run better.

Depends on the game, but mostly, yes. Have you seen the progress on Sims 1, 2, 3 and 4? I'd hands down pick Sims 4 because it has better quality and the gameplay goes smoother compared to older versions.

If you are into gaming experience then, graphics is a factor. While if you are into simple games then, it is not much. For those who are playing with high graphics do play first-person perspective most likely shooting or adventure. I also care about graphics for specific games.
